What's wrong with the hydraulic system motor not working and the hydraulic pump

The failure of the hydraulic system motor to operate the hydraulic pump is quite common, usually caused by the pressure of the overflow valve not being adjusted properly or the hydraulic valve being stuck. Of course, there are other reasons that may also cause the hydraulic system motor to not operate the hydraulic pump. Let's take a look below.

The reason why the hydraulic system motor cannot operate the hydraulic pump is:

1. Adjust the overflow valve, check the system pressure from small to large, and adjust the overflow valve to normal working pressure;

2. When the system is not working, the system should be experiencing pressure relief and overflow. If the pump is still stopped and the motor is not working during this period (no load), the valve may be stuck. Check, clean, and try again without any problems;

3. The overload setting of the motor itself is too low, resulting in tripping and pump shutdown. This may also be caused by poor quality of some components;

4. Excessive pressure caused by other valves or unsmooth oil flow in the system, resulting in system overload and pump shutdown;

5. Wiring problem, causing overload;

In general, the inability of the hydraulic system to move the hydraulic pump with the motor is caused by two reasons: 1 and 2. It is recommended to first investigate these two factors, and if not, further investigate them.
