Working principle and structural characteristics
Principle of radial ball plug:
There is an eccentric stator ring (raceway) and a rotating rotor inside the motor.
The piston in the rotor pushes the steel ball, which rolls in the eccentric stator raceway.
On the inlet side, hydraulic oil pushes the piston and steel ball, and due to the eccentric effect of the raceway, torque is generated to force the rotor to rotate.
On the return side, the steel ball and piston are pushed back.
This design directly converts hydraulic energy into mechanical torque.
Static pressure bearing technology:
This is the core technology of OMP motor. A layer of oil film is formed between the piston and the rotor hole by introducing pressure oil, allowing the piston to work in a "floating" state.
Advantage:
Almost zero wear: avoids direct contact friction between metals.
High mechanical efficiency: minimal friction loss.
Extremely high starting torque: The hydrostatic bearing is established at zero speed, so the starting torque can reach up to 98% of the theoretical torque.
Long lifespan: Due to minimal wear and tear, the motor has an extremely long service life.
